The Tết Vietnam Festival is a vibrant cultural event hosted every year in Orange County, California, celebrating the Vietnamese Lunar New Year and the rich heritage of the Vietnamese community. The festival brings together thousands of people to enjoy traditional music and dragon dances, cultural performances, and colorful parades.

Why SHOULD JOIN TET FESTIVAL

JOINING
The festival creates a welcoming and warm space where families, friends and visitors can come together as one community to celebrate the Lunar New Year, enjoy cultural performances, and experience the joyful atmosphere of Tết.
LEARNING
The festival is an opportunity to learn about Vietnamese culture and traditions, discover the meanings behind traditional foods (bánh chưng, bánh tét), decorations, music, and customs passed down through generations.
SHARING
During the festival, people share food, stories, laughter, and good wishes for the new year. The tradition of giving, whether through lucky money (lì xì), kind words, or time spent together, encourages generosity and compassion.

Raising of the Bamboo

Tết Festival’s Cultural Village (also known as Làng Việt Nam in Vietnamese) is a replica of a traditional village in Việt Nam. The village is comprised of cultural exhibits, galleries, and models of Vietnamese architecture throughout.

Ancestral Altar Procession

The Tết Festival officially begins with the Ancestral Altar Procession (Lễ Rước Kiệu Tổ). This traditional ceremony features costumed Kings, Queens, Court Officials, soldiers, elders, and ordinary villagers walking in a cultural procession.

Spring Wedding

Online tickets and tickets purchased at the front gate ($10) are good for (1) general admission into the event. Hand stamp is available for re-entry.
Ceremonial Special
Free*
Free entrance for visitors who wear traditional Vietnamese outfits (no religious outfits), military, and scout uniforms (no costumes or masks).
Infants 2 Years And Younger
Free
Must be accompanied by paying adult. Infant may be in strollers; however, the event does not provide stroller storage or daycare services.

Do we have to wait in line for tickets if we already bought it online?
No! Skip the line to purchase tickets and immediately enter the festival!
When is the conference taking place?
We have an online presale in December for only $7 per ticket. Our general sale has a buy 3 get 1 free bundle that is online exclusive. We offer free entry for traditional outfits such as ao dai (no religious outfits), military, and scout uniforms (no costumes) from 12pm-1pm on SATURDAY FEB 14 ONLY.
Why does it look like I paid for 4 tickets when I got the buy 3 get 1 free bundle?
The buy 3 get 1 free bundle is an automatic grouping of 4 tickets in which the price per ticket has been adjusted to give you the total cost value of 3 tickets.
Do I need to buy tickets in advance, or can I purchase them at the door?
You can purchase tickets here on Eventbrite or on site! Purchasing on Eventbrite allows you to skip the line to purchase tickets! However, if you decide to purchase tickets on site, there will be no fees for cash, and only a credit card transaction fee.
What are the festival hours? Do they change each day?
Hours of Operation: Friday 4pm-10pm Saturday 11am-10pm Sunday 11am-9pm
Do children need tickets? What about seniors?
Only children under 3 enter free! All other kids, adults, and seniors are required to purchase a ticket for entry.
What’s included in the ticket price (e.g., food, performances, parking)?
Access to the festival grounds and performances are included in the ticket price. Food and vendor items for sale are not included in the ticket.
Can I leave and re-enter the festival?
Yes! Upon exiting the festival, please make sure you recieve a re-entry stamp to enter the festival again, only valid for same day re-entry.
Can I use the same ticket for multiple days?
No, tickets are only valid for 1 day only. Please purchase another ticket if you're going another day.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Yes! On Eventbrite, there is a feature for you to send tickets to your friends/family. Names on the ticket do not have to match up to the person attending as long as there is 1 ticket per person for entry.

We are actively working on parking spaces and shuttle options for the festival, please check back for updates on parking!
Can we get refunds?
